I think you mean layers?don't you?
there are 3 layers. and also I worked with colors,hue and saturation))

you mark out the layer on photo, for example all photo, after that use the right mouseclick and select layer via copy, and you can see your layer on panel of layers on the right .
Take your layer on another picture, and also work with you layer with right mouseclick to transform and other options)
I think it's better to see some lessons on youtube)))
